Worst possible apartment

Nothing. Every tiny bit of experience in this apartment was negative.

− Staying here was a traumatizing experience for me and my family. When we arrived at the apartment, we noticed that the room had a strong smell of moist, mold on the bathroom ceiling, spider webs on the room ceiling and was infested with mosquitos. So, basically, the room was unlivable based on common sense criteria. When we saw this, we immediately wanted to cancel our booking, but the host said that if we spend one night in there, we will be transferred to a much better room than what we’ve booked. After the first night spent in this room, my 4 year old daughter was full of mosquito bites and I had an allergy crisis from all the moist and mold, and we also had a small feral "present" on the balcony (see the pictures). Gladly, the next day we were transferred to a “Deluxe Studio”, which in fact was a room smaller that the one we’ve originally booked, with one bed (instead of two) and a lot less amenities than what we’ve payed for. So, the promise made by the host wasn't respected. When I politely asked the host for a partial refund, justified by our not-so-pleasant first night and the fact that the new room was not according to the conditions we’ve booked, the host answered that we will not receive any refunds, because the new room has a better view than the old one and that should compensate.

Nice one night stay

We liked the location. There was a super pool. The studio was bigger than average, with a large balcony overlooking a lovely pool, and country views. Close to the centre.

− Could do with redecoration before it starts to look shabby. Beds a bit hard.

Not the usual Greek hospitality from the hosts, the Cleaner was lovely though.

The balcony was lovely to sit on, but we only had a view of the pool...which was OK. Pool made up for the lack of other things... Location was a 5-10 min walk to Paleokastritsa beach, so very handy.

− Sofa bed was really uncomfortable, AC not great. The kitchen area was not up to standard: NO Kettle, Hob did not work, when asked for another, the 2nd did not work either! Hardly any cutlery or pans. Not helpful if you're a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) needing to self-cater to keep costs down. Fridge was small, light in bathroom very dim.

Very good location, close to a lot of beaches, markets, restaurants and hiking trails. Clean, comfortable bed and friendly staff.
