Clean, modern and bright. Everything worked. Good position for where we wanted to be near family in Tideswell.

This property is surprisingly spacious. Our host Mark was great at communication, he gave clear directions on how to get to the property and how to access the keys. We were given welcome gift options too which was thoughtful. We were only staying 2 nights which was a shame as this is definitely the type of place where you could stay comfortably as a home away from home. 2 great size bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms plus a downstairs WC. Full kitchen including a dishwasher and the house was spotless. Location was great, an easy 10 min drive to the Peak District national park. WiFi was strong, smart TV, selection of board games too. The hosts have put a lot of effort into making this a comfortable place to stay. Mark was very accommodating when requesting a slightly later checkout too. We will definitely be back and will/have recommended this to family and friends.

− Just personal preference, the mattresses were on the soft side and we prefer firmer. But after a tiring day exploring the Peaks, we slept well.

There are three toilets, which are very convenient for 3-4 people. The location and utilities were excellent. The host is exceptionally hospitable and is ready 24 hours to help you out. Even if you knock him at 3am in the morning for something he will respond and will help you. There are lots of options of welcome packs which are really nice.

A comfortable home from home.

This modern house was very good, clean, warm and comfortable ( especially the king size bed ), situated in a quiet, new estate, with easy access to Buxton and other areas of the Peak District. A short drive to the local fish & chip shop and the new Aldi supermarket. The complimentary butchers pack was very welcome. When I asked for anti-allergenic pillows & duvet, owner Matt came back to say we would have new bedding, which was excellent consideration. Would strongly recommend Peak View.

− Nothing much. Although a welcome book ( we didn't find one ), with rules for waste collection, operation details for the various appliances, etc., would be useful. Maybe some hangers for towels in the bathroom and en-suite.
