1.0I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at The Hosteller Old Goa was disappointing enough that I feel future guests should be aware. The property is clearly suffering from a lack of maintenance and management attention. During my stay I encountered multiple issues, including poor cleanliness, inadequate upkeep of the facilities, and an overall feeling that the hostel is not being properly managed. Rather than enjoying my time, I found myself constantly dealing with avoidable problems. Communication with the staff was also inconsistent. Several concerns were raised during my stay, yet very little seemed to improve. After leaving, I even contacted the management directly with detailed feedback in the hope that they would address the shortcomings, but unfortunately the overall impression remained one of neglect rather than genuine concern for the guest experience. The location itself has potential, but potential alone is not enough. A hostel should provide a clean, safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment, and in my opinion this property currently falls well below that standard. I sincerely hope management takes guest feedback seriously and invests in improving the maintenance, cleanliness, and overall quality of the hostel. Until then, I cannot recommend staying here.
Comfortable stay , but arrange your own good vehicle to see around.
7.0Peaceful location, near to a river , No Noise pollution . Good and clean bed. Housekeeping staff cleans up the rooms and washrooms daily. Free Wifi connection also pretty decent.
− Very far from city. Own vehicle will be a necessity if visiting this part of Goa especially during the monsoon season.

10.0Had a wonderful stay at this hostel. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. One of the highlights was the balcony, which provided a great place to relax and unwind. The air conditioning worked perfectly, making the stay pleasant even during warm weather. The restroom was well-maintained, hygienic, and equipped with all the essentials. Parking facilities were also convenient and hassle-free. Overall, the property offers excellent value for money with good amenities and a comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I look forward to visiting again.

Possession, consumption, or distribution of illegal drugs and narcotic substances is strictly prohibited across all properties. Outside food is strictly prohibited inside the hostel premises.
The cafe serves vegetarian food in a self-service style and opens from 08:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 23:00.
Female dorms are strictly for female guests only.
