Perfectly placed 3 bed home in a peaceful close♡

The house was in a very quiet ‘Close’ and within a 5 minute drive to family. 3 bedrooms- very light and airy, lounge, kitchen and downstairs toilet. 2 people staying with a dog. Thoughtful tray left for us in the kitchen- tea. Coffee, biscuits and sugar. Also in the bathroom - pleasant shampoo/ shower gel etc provided. Lovely fluffy towels provided.

− N/A as we liked the property very much. It wasn’t overlooked at the back which was nice. Decking and garden chairs available if required. The dog didn’t like to walk on the pebbles, but she is advancing in years.

location for us was good

− Clean at first glance, but needs attention The host was responsive and helpful, and the location was ideal for our needs. While the property appeared clean on arrival, after staying a few days it became clear it would benefit from a more thorough deep clean. The biggest issue was the shower — the rail was broken and it didn’t function properly, so we had to improvise using the hose while crouching in the bath, which was quite inconvenient. The host did provide a small amount of compensation, which was appreciated. However, overall the property would benefit from better maintenance and cleaning standards.

− The floor in the Washroom upstairs is very soft. Backyard could use some TLC

− The display pictures used on booking.com in no way show the true state of the property 1 . The Tv didn't work 2, The curtains in the living room didn't close 3, The garden was a wild field of weeds and old dog poop 4, The garden furniture was filthy 5, The bin in the kitchen was broken 6, There was only a big recycle bin and no big green general waste bin 7, The ceiling in the living room was badly water damaged 8 . The kitchen ware was a mix of all sorts of things and the pans are really bad quality , as were the knives and forks . 9, There were no hangers in the wardrobes 10, There were no cleaning clothes in the house 11 . The shower was somewhat hit and miss and looked pretty disgusting 12 . The second key box outside wouldn't open , so being that both worked at different times sharing one set of keys was impossible . 13, Front bedroom had a big burn in the carpet , but the rooms are nice . Very poorly presented and not worth the money
