3.0The location
− Entrance was dirty and uninviting. General level of cleanliness very poor. Cobwebs in corners of rooms. Filthy windows inside and out and sills, obviously not been cleaned for months. Broken blinds in bathroom, curtains in 1st floor bedroom hanging off the rail, unable to close properly, has to use a hair clip! Hand prints on mirrors especially the hall mirror. Garden very overgrown, not pleasant to sit in, pictures of garden on booking.com completely different to how it is now, very very misleading. Summer house left unlocked with weeds growing over the roof. All these issues have not happened overnight. The property has been neglected. Such a shame as the location is fantastic. Other properties in the road were lovely as were the gardens. I would not recommend staying here until big improvements are made. Plus £925 for 5 nights I would expect a lot better. Broken awning outside back door, very tatty. Badly scratched baking sheet in cupboards.
A great location and a lovely house.
8.0Great location. Good size rooms. Clean.
− Needed a good tidy up in the back garden, very overgrown. Not enough garden furniture to seat everyone. Could do with a small barbecue. Living room furniture a little uncomfortable. Neighbours very possessive over parking. But found parking on adjacent street.
Great short break
8.0Great location and easy short walk to all that sheringham has to offer, good facilities everything we needed for a short break. The inside of the property was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed watching the trains in the back garden, also the hammock was great on a sunny afternoon. We would stay again.
− The outside of the property really does let it down, a very overgrown front garden, had to move four bins in order to be able to access the front door. As these had been just left any how, windows in need of a good clean kerb appeal could be massively improved. Back garden also in much need of some tlc. First impressions were not great.
Excellent location and a lovely, spacious house.
9.0Super spacious house, had everything we could possibly need. Lovely yet a bit overgrown garden. We loved seeing the train running just above the garden.
− Well, there’s NO street parking. Theoretically it is as each house should have designated spaces to park just outside BUT no 26 had THREE cars, 22 had 2 cars and they all blocked the whole possible way of parking right next to this house which is 24. So we couldn’t park there even for a minute and even when off loading the car we were shouted at and told off by no 26. If you have small children with prams or are elderly you will struggle as the nearest carpark was a long stay one (we have to pay each day for it) and a few mins walk.
A Great property very well looked after and well equipped in a lovely location . We will return .
10.0The property is absolutely beautiful, clean well maintained and located in a perfect place close to a beautiful sea side town with loads of shops, pubs , restaurants and local friendly people. We was amazed by the train line so close to the rear of property which was so good to watch the train pass by every so often and it was not loud and did not disturb us at all in fact we really enjoyed watching and my father was so happy because his into train models so this was a superb treat for him. Neighbours was very nice people and such a quiet location.
− The only issue we had was the Wi-Fi code did not work and the password code would not match correctly as directed. There is nothing to dislike about this property.
apart from parking it was a lovely stay
7.0− Parking was a nightmare, nearest I got was 400 to 500 yards and that was for 1st night. I even found cone when I got closer and used it to find it was moved and i had to park a long way from cottage
