Old charm cozy apartment by leafy Duke campus
9.0Really nice apartment in an old house on a leafy street right by Duke East Campus where we were visiting my daughter. Great covered porch to relax at the back with large fenced yard for dogs to run. House had old charm and really cozy. We really liked the living area with bed and additional bedroom and the full kitchen with Coffee, tea and cream provided. Convenient for dining in warehouse district and downtown. Access to laundry in basement a plus!
− Being an old house, electrical outlets were limited, so had to be a little creative moving lamps around with extension cords. We had a little problem arriving late on the first night as the battery on the front door keypad had died and we only got in because a longer term tenant came out to let us in and change the battery. I found the electrical keypad a little awkward, and a backup plan for access would be useful.
