Great location but wouldn’t stay again due to noise and not setup for a holiday stay
4.0Close to station and shops Extra sofabed in lounge Fairly large apartment
− No instructions for heating Key pick up is 15 mins away, very inconvenient for arrival with luggage Very thin walls and neighbours extremely noisy Lack of furniture in bedroom
Disappointing
4.0Great location
− Gas cooker broke, unable to cook for nearly a week. Floor boards were damaged in several places creating trip hazards. Kitchen cupboards were mouldy, anything put in them picked up the smell. So we were unable to use the cupboards. There was no furniture in bedrooms apart from a wardrobe, a side table on each side would have been useful. Owner was in contact, which was useful, but still disappointed overall.
Passable
5.0Great location near Waitrose and train station
− Not clean
Very good
8.0the accommodation was great. there were 8 of us and we had a great time. even though it was raining and cold, the apartment was warm. close to shops, the main street, cafes and the train station with a connection to the center. communication with the owner was perfect.
− we missed a sharp knife and a hairdryer
Excellent flat, plenty of room, would be great for a stay for the city to 20min mainline track.
10.0The property was located right next door to the venue we needed but also a short train ride into Waterloo. Linens and towels were provided, a few extra little touches like, washing products in the kitchen, sanitary products in the bathroom. Both bedrooms have wardrobes, blackout curtains all round (lounge ones would have been better being full length), table and chairs in lounge/diner, tv, washing machine, dish washer, big fridge freezer. The town is approx a 2 minute walk down the alley and there are plenty of shops, a Waitrose and Surbiton train station.
− Not anything I didn’t like like, but a little spruce up would be lovely.
Spacious, excellently situated, well priced flat but we won't be back.
5.0The location was super, very close to Surbiton train station, a black cab rank, buses, several supermarkets, a gym etc. The apartment was very spacious. It was quiet and had an outdoor space, and a parking space which for the price was great. There weren't enough forks for us or towels but when we told the owner/manager they did let us know where to find more and order extra forks - so some problems are resolved.
− The whole apt had an unloved feel. There were bare light bulbs, very little furniture - no bedside tables or reading lights, no chairs or dressing tables in our bedrooms to put belongings, or sit on on despite there being a lot of space. The window frame in the bathroom was rotten, the cleaning was passable (other peoples hairs on the bathroom window sill and bath mat). We had to tell the owners/managers about the blocked shower drain which to be fair they did order drain cleaner, but we then had to unblock it. The key collection is awkward especially if you arrive by train at Surbiton which is only minutes away (we did and later hired a car) - you have to walk 10 minutes each way in the other direction to collect the keys. We had had a long journey but it wasn't raining, and my husband ran it leaving us waiting with luggage at the flat. If you had younger, hungry or tired children this would be very very tedious. So factor it in and get a taxi from the station to the key collection shop and back to the apt. You don't get told of the key collection until a day or so before check in.
