A diamond in the rough! I honestly didn't even realize that we had booked such a historically significant place to stay, so bonus surprise to explore the house with the historical photos and descriptions as well as the bookshelf. I definitely recommend taking the time to look closely. There were no screens in the house, which was great. It was refreshing to play board games, and the guitar on the wall was played almost nonstop while we were there as well.
