Lovely place. Good location-Close to the high street etc. Very clean...and i can be fussy lol! All facilities available as described, including a fan for the sweltering heat! The hosts provided all the necessary info clearly. Good wi-fi. All good. Nothing to complain about.

Hot and noisy room

Very clean, tidy and up to date, including common areas. Very convenient, less than 10 minutes walk to centre Good size comfortable bed for two people

− We stayed in room 3 which is at the front of the house The room is quite noisy due to continuous fast cars passing very near to the property - there is a really small pavement outside with no front garden. There was a heatwave and it was unbearably hot in the room when we arrived at 4pm. The room was actually hotter than outside and we had to go back out as it was too hot, the fan supplied just blew hot air over us. There was a large bay window but we couldn’t open it during the night due to the street noise from very fast cars which pass very near to the property. We could still hear the cars with the window shut. We understand that the weather in the uk is unusual and challenging at the moment but it has been like this on and off for a few months, long enough to make a serious effort to keep the room as cool as possible for when the guests arrive. For example, the large bay window should have more than a simple, fabric curtain to keep out the sun. Outside door screen kept shutting off in the middle of us putting in code. Took several tries to get in

Easy check in Perfect location for exploring centre of Winchester. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Clean shower with ample shower gel etc. Modern clean decor. Fan providec Kitchen facilities excellent.

The room is new, clean, and charming. It's very close to the main attactions and restaurants of the city. There is a shared kitchen with a frigobar. There is free coffee, tea and toileteries in the room.

− It has the potential to be a great place, but there were some things that came short in the expectations. The actual daily is very strict (checkin is at 4pm and checkout is at 10:30), so we asked if we could leave the luggage before checkin time, they said yes but then didn't send the password of the street door, nor replied our messages when we got there. So be prepared to pay for luggage storage (5 pounds per bag plus the discomfort to take them to/from storage to the place). We booked for 2 people, but there is a bedside table just for 1 person. The bathroom is neat, nice mirror, but we didn't have hot water one night, it doesn't have an outlet to use the hair dryer, nor shelves in the shower box. The location is good, but it's in a busy street and we can hear the traffic outside the entire time, even with earplugs. It was a sunny week and the room gets super warm. In addition, there seems to be a data leak of the guest's info, since I got multiple attemps of scam by email and WhatsApp from people prettending to be from the property in the month before my trip.
