Far from the town center and quiet , the beach house was well located with a very beautiful view of the ocean.

− I recently stayed at the beach house in Diego with my family, and while the location is beautiful and the owner’s mother was very welcoming, tye communication with the owner was also very good at tye beginning, there were a few challenges that affected our stay. The property itself has a lot of potential, but I noticed several areas where improvements could be made to enhance the guest experience. The cleanliness could be better — the tiles were not well-maintained, and very dirty, the kitchen was a bit disorganized when we were there. Additionally, we encountered some hygiene issues, such as rats coming into the house through gaps in the kitchen walls, they were walking around the kitchen and the dining table , as well as cockroaches and ants in the kitchen. (I have photos for evidence).The ants even made their way into the fridge when the power went out for a day. Another issue was the construction work that they unfortunately stated in the courtyard the day before we left. As it was a very windy season, the dust from the construction filled the house, all the rooms without any exception, which triggered allergic reactions for both my daughter and myself. We spent a restless night and had to see a doctor upon returning to the city. ( I have photos of evidence). What I found most disappointing, however, was my attempt to share constructive feedback with the owner. I reached out via WhatsApp, hoping to offer suggestions that could help improve the experience for future guests. Unfortunately, rather than acknowledging the feedback, she seemed frustrated and defensive, explaining that “this is how things are in the country.” Cleanness is universal, it doesn’t depend on the country’s culture, situation…I wasn’t asking for anything in return, just trying to provide helpful insight, but it felt like my concerns were dismissed.

Beautiful stay for someone physically fit. Be aware no power every other night.

Beautiful view with a breeze on the back patio. Each bedroom had a private bathroom. Kitchen equipped well enough. Staff helpful

− No air condition only fans which would not have been an issue if the power did not go off every other night from 6pm- 11pm. After being out in the heat all day we could not go to bed until after 11 as we had to sit out on the balcony to avoid being overheated. Also could not charge devices. The walk down to the house was long and steep. One in our group had to be relocated as she could not walk to the house.

− No power every other night from 6pm to 11 pm, internet worked for 2 hrs each night (for a few dollars we could have it fur 6 hours. This should be explained when you check in) the walk to the house was long and very steep. Almost treacherous, especially on the nights when there was no power. One client had to be relocated in town

− No power every other night from 6pm - 11 pm so you cannot go to sleep as it is very hot . The internet only 2 hrs a night (once we figured it out we would pay for the extra time so this should be noted that you can pay a few dollars to have internet on), the walk was rocky and very steep from the car park to the house. We had to put 1 person in our group at another location as it was too difficult for her to walk so this cost money. Bed bugs biting us all night so sleep was interrupted. No hot water
