10.0Nicola and Michael were excellent hosts, very helpful and accommodating. The property was clean and tidy and the welcoming bottle of Prosecco and biscuits was very much appreciated.

9.0Nice touch of some wine & biscuits left for us on our arrival . Lots of space in the property & a nice enclosed garden. Great location to access the beach (10 mins walk) and travel to local areas: Whitby etc. Car parking at the rear of the property. Lovely local chippy :-)
− No air con or fans in the property - it was fairly hot when we stayed.; but with open windows we slept ok! More cooking utensils eg pots and pans would be helpful if you want to cook at home. We weren't sure how to play the (good selection of) DVD's that were at the property.

7.0Beds were comfortable. The location was a good base for exploring the local area. The hosts had left a bottle of wine and cookies which was a nice thought.
− The house was cold on the first night and there were no logs for the wood stove. However, once the heating had been running the house did warm up and was cozy.
