Quirky little chalet in a lovely location but damp may be an issue for some.

Excellent communication from the owner. Very responsive to texts and gave clear directions and instructions. This was a last minute booking so very vigilant of them to be looking out for communications. Excellent location, short walk to the stunning beach where there's great views of the coastline. Nice on site fish and chip shop, reasonably priced. Chalet was clean. Towels provided. Basic, but has all the equipment you need. Well lit. Fully working broadband and smart TV. Once we got warm and settled we slept well. Bedding was clean. Beds comfortable enough. Excellent location. Felt welcoming.

There is some evidence of damp on some of the walls and it didn't feel very well aired on arrival. It took us a while to get warm (bedding although clean, felt cold and a little damp). Odour of damp in the air. I've a breathing condition so this isn't great for me. Disappointing given everything else is good. Coin operated electric meter a bit of a surprise but had credit on so can't complain - might have been mentioned somewhere in the advert. Sofa uncomfortable but serviceable. Found the electric heaters on the walls in the bedroom tricky to operate. Felt it was expensive for what was offered. We paid approximately £100 for one night.
