The house was lovely, location was good, the team were very responsive.

Plenty of space, beautiful kitchen/diner extension and a secluded garden. Quiet residential area only a short drive to St Albans. The manager was very quick in responding to queries.

Would be lovely in summer however take note of our comments.

The property was spacious and in a quiet area. Nice outlook to garden.

− - when we arrived to check in there was no heating on. - we discovered there was no facility to control the heating in the house and had to be done remotely by the owner. - it appeared that the owner was monitoring our movements to/from the property as they commented that “we are not there very much” - despite disclosing there were two cameras in the house that we could disable we suspected we were being monitored in the house. - during our stay the owner requested a third party enter the property which does not seem normal practice. - in the dim lighting one member of our party walked into the fixed glass dividing panel that had no markings or warning labels. - the owner requested we divide the recycling how ever there were no bin liners provided. - all the labelled doors seemed excessive. - checking in was not easy with the digital code until we got used to it.

De locatie ten opzichte van Londen. St. Albans is een leuk stadje en absoluut een bezoek waard. Verder kan ik niet echt iets positiefs benoemen.

− De staat van onderhoud. De badkamer is outdated, maar ook de stoelen in de keuken en de bank in de woonkamer hebben hun beste tijd gehad. Veel stickers en bordjes die aangeven wat je allemaal niet mag of waar je geen toegang toe hebt. Inclusief het losse toilet op de begane grond. Je hebt dus slechts 1 badkamer met toilet ter beschikking. De matrassen waren slecht, 2 bedden hebben niet eens een matras maar een schuimrubber mat en dat lag keihard. Op 1 2-persoonsbed lag een 1 persoons dekbed, hoe we daar met z'n 2-tjes onder moesten liggen is ons een raadsel. Het niveau van schoonmaak vond ik echt tegenvallen: vieze stoelen in de keuken, kalkaanslag in de badkamer, haren in de kledingkast, vieze en stinkende wasmachine, vieze strijkbout et cetera/ De tuin is groot, maar vrijwel alle beplanting is dood.

Lovely kitchen and garden. Quiet area.

− No hairdryer at the property. Could have done with a hand towel each as well as a bath towel. There were a lot of ants on the wall leading upstairs.
