It was a short stay. But every corner of the house brought unexpected brilliance.

10.0The them and decor of the space really shows the work that the owner put into making this amazing space. It was so cool and it was one of the highlights of my trip and I was so excited to stay here! The owner gave detailed instructions before arrival for what is expected of you as a guest and how to get in and everything. It was done very well.

− Maybe I'm just new to Airbnb type lodging, this is my first time. The day before check out, I got a lengthy note about all the chores that needed to be completed prior to departure. I guess for over $300/night, I don't want to have to take out the trash to the street, laundry and dishes. Had I known this up front, I would have felt that at least I was making an informed decision. But day before check out, we had to end our visit with our friends early to get out chores done and still leave early the next morning.

− The outside approach to this fantastic basement is uninspiring. The noise of walking on the ceiling is a distraction. The beautiful kitchen window could use some privacy beads or cute wooden shutters or some whimsical treatment to shut out the view of the human world.

9.0The owners poured their heart and soul into this place! It is a stunning hobbit house! It’s cozy and makes you want to stay under blanket, sip some hot cocoa and read a book. The atmosphere is fantastic!!!
− You can hear tenants above moving around quite loudly. Unfortunately this continued well past 1am a few nights. Even with that in mind, we would stay there again.
