Beware this company’s properties. They are using Booking.com’s platform and advertising false.
1.0The description given on Booking.com gave no indication of 1) located side-on to a very busy road. This would have badly affected indoor quiet and outdoor space. 2) the side yard was written up to be a quiet area to relax and BBQ. The noise of traffic was disquieting, and the grass was over 3 ft high. The chairs, table and BBQ were dusty and sat among weeds. 3) the parking apron was ugly, with overflowing trash cans and junk from the neighbor’s house sitting on part of the apron. 4) no mention had been made re the junk we would look out on in the neighbor’s house. We walked inside and immediately out. Noise from the road was loud, and views were nasty.
− The fact that the description was totally bogus. In our opinion it was fraudulent. Upon arriving and discovering the above negatives, we reached out to the contact for the booking to find that he refused the description we gave him and sent us another which described the road and the junk. He also said the grass was cut every 2 weeks but when we returned a day later we saw a man swinging a scythe-like tool because 3ft grass cannot be cut with regular mower. We have asked for a full refund. To date we have received none.
Great Location
9.0This is a great house for beach trips and access to Astoria. The kitchen is well stocked and the house is very cozy.
The host was great, very communicative and helpful.
9.0− The only thing that would make is better is if there were 2 suitcase holders in each bedroom, one for each person in the couple.
