Cozy Luxury on the Thames in Ontario!♡

The location was very easy, convenient, and beautiful! Everything in London is easily accessible from the location. In the property, it is very gorgeous and well maintained, with both a very nice hot tub outside and a soaking tub inside, both of which we used during our stay. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and the host did a fantastic job being responsive to anything we needed, including making sure we were comfortable despite unforeseen work taking place in the neighborhood.

The location of the house is amazing - it backs right on to the Thames. There are always birds, chipmunks and squirrels in the backyard. And there's a resident racoon Rocco (and his family), as well as a skunk, that you can watch at night. The host Kevin leaves food out for them every night, we loved watching the wildlife. The house is very cozy, clean, the bed is very comfy, the TV has Netflix etc. I loved the size of the bathroom and the double sink. We were so busy visiting family that we didn't get to use the giant tub. Kevin was super friendly. I was clearing out my old things from a friends house as I've moved and permanently live in Australia now, and Kevin helped me clear things out and throw things away, which I really appreciated. We enjoyed our time there and the price was extremely affordable.

− I think it should be noted that the host is living with you in the house, we either missed this online when booking, or it is not written clearly enough. We had quite a surprise when arriving that the host is living in the basement, the stairs leading to the basement are on the main floor where you are staying. There is no separation. Also, Kevin's office is on the main floor. He comes up from the basement each morning and whenever we were home we could hear him in his office - from our room, bathroom, or living room. It feels as though you have a roommate. The entrance to the house is not a private entrance, as it says online, but it is a shared entrance with Kevin. It is also not detached or a private apartment, they are both connected, and if you come out of your room, you have to be fully dressed. Kevin is very nice, we appreciated our time there and his help, but we were very shocked when arriving at the house and feel that the booking description does not match the reality.

The property was perfect for our visit with a very relaxing outdoor area and view

− Only thing we didn’t love was the pillows however that’s most likely personal preference.

Looking forward to staying here again, during our next to visit family and friends.

Great location with a view of the river. The home was clean. comfortable and exactly as described. Kevin was a thoughtful host who supplied, coffee, juice, eggs and bagels so that we didn’t need to rush out and buy supplies upon our arrival, which was a nice touch. During our 28 day stay we enjoyed using the deck, bbq and hot tub. Perfect for a long stay, would highly recommend.

− The view from inside the house it great, so it would have been nice to have a small table to enjoy it while having breakfast, sitting at the breakfast bar meant you had your back to the view.

Peaceful, Luxurious, and Perfect! The host made us feel right at home. The unit is immaculately maintained and the property is professionally landscaped. Sunrises and sunsets over the river were lovely. We highly recommend this property. The host is very kind, and attentive to guests’ requests and questions.
