Prima verblijf gehad. Gelukkig was er een parkeerplaats vlakbij die bij de cottage hoorde.
8.0De ligging tov het strand
Superb location but needs some TLC
7.0This is a lovely location. It is overlooking the Tefi river, although mostly treeline from the deck. We saw an Osprey from the deck whilst eating dinner. A few minutes' walk from The Ferry Inn (lovely pub with river views) and The Moorings where we took fabulous boat trips. It's a lovely stone cottage which feels spacious. We appreciated the really generous welcome pack. Parking worked well.
− In the kitchen we found most items of basic quality. The fridge does not have a freezer compartment, so we could not have ice or freezer packs during hot weather. Coat hangers were all re-used supermarket children's hangers which did not effectively hold adult clothes. Net curtain in the lounge was held up with sticky pads and it kept falling down. There was the leftover of someone elses fire in the burner, and open margerine in the fridge. Outside decking and the front of the property were a bit tired. Overall, just lacking the joy a holiday accommodation can have.
Long weekend in west wales

8.0Lovely setting, overlooking the river. Very convenient for the pontoon for wildlife trips, and the Ferry Inn gastropub. Good to have off road parking.
− It's a cottage and is delightful but has some limitations. The bedrooms are upstairs, there is one bathroom and it's downstairs, that's quite an expedition for those of us old enough to need the facilities at night! There is also no dishwasher, and no freezer or freezing compartment in the fridge... not essential, but nice to have.

5.0Plenty of room and a nice kitchen.
− No river views, wood burner had no logs or matches for us to use, had to buy some from the local shop. Lamp next to tv not working, and worst of all was the location. No pavements to walk on, the cottage is right next to a hectic road and the noise was incessant. The level of noise was the worst we've experienced. Be careful if you have children as there is no front or back garden and you have to walk on the hectic road to get to your vehicle or go to shops or the pub.
Warm comfortable cottage.
9.0It was warm, spacious, clean and welcoming. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. The kitchen was bright and well equipped and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. Free parking was a bonus and the host's messages made our entry to the property easy.
− Sofas were not so comfortable for any length of time. Extraction fan in the bathroom wasn't working well, leaving condensation running down walls after a shower. One Bedroom had a long wardrobe mirror, however would have been helpful for both bedrooms to have a mirror for hair and makeup.
