Location to the city centre and beach, was great to meet friends for dinner as well as a race meet the next day in the morning. Ideal for small families, or a group of friends too.

The only issue we had was heating and we couldn't figure out how to turn the heating on. We tried to put it on before heading out for dinner and came back to a chilled place.

Disappointing accommodation but a lovely visit to Brighton

5.0

Great location close to the beach, i360, Waitrose and other shops. Clean comfy beds. TV with Netflix and a good sized kitchen. Bathroom had a walk in shower.

No instruction manuals for hob or oven - gave up on trying to get the oven to come on. Only half of the hob was useable - the pans are too small to allow the two big induction hobs to be used. Only one side of the toaster worked. Heating was on all night, making it too hot to sleep and also keeping the boiler (in one of the bedrooms) firing continuously) - as there were no instructions for the heating control we ended up switching off the boiler. Kitchen was missing some basics, for instance there were 3 corkscrews but no tin opener. No soap in the toilet/bathroom. Kitchen counters had crumbs and sticky marks, and floors and surfaces throughout were swept but dusty and grubby under the feet. No toiletries or snacks supplied as advertised in the listing.

Double bed only fits one adult

7.0

Excellent location, close to the beach and main attractions. There was a good kitchen, although it could have benefitedfrom salt, pepper etc. It was a fairly quiet neighbourhood. The house, for the most part, was clean.

The double bed hardly fit an adult and a child (let alone two adults), so the house only slept three of us comfortably (presumably why there were only 3 forks!). The bathroom was cold and permanently damp, so we had to wear shoes/take our socks off to go in there. When we arrived, there were no welcome instructions, so we sat freezing for 2 hours before we could get the owners on the phone (who told us where to find/turn on the boiler) - easily avoided with a sheet of paper.

All shirt but no trousers.

The location was good and the key access was convenient.

It was cold and there was no way we could turn the heating on. I tried using the thermostat but to no avail. The oven did not work either so I was not able to cook whilst we were there. I tried to contact the host but they did not respond throughout the stay. So we remained cold and unable to use the oven.
