Very comfortable, clean and in a lovely peaceful spot. Owners had left tea, coffee, milk, jams and even money to put in the electric meter! Table and chairs outside, great for sitting and watching the sunset, and stocked up bird feeders which meant loads of little birds to watch in the morning, which was lovely. A little walk down the path, and you're on Welcombe Mouth Beach. Loved that.

Nothing I didn't like. I suppose if I had to say anything, then maybe it was not knowing where to park. I went into the pub and asked, and the lady there showed me which bay to use, so no big problem.

Delightful Devon

10.0

Such a peaceful area but still only 20 minutes away from various lovely sites to visit. The place itself was spotless, comfy beds, beautiful view. The bird feeder was such a bonus, so relaxing to watch the birds! Didn't have food at the pub next door but it was so welcoming and a stunning building/beer garden. Couldn't wish for a better pub right on your doorstep! All in all, we had a lovely week and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Erm, the water pressure. Made doing the dishes and having a shower a slow process but hardly the end of the world.

Really enjoyed the tranquility and views and conforts of the chalet. The pub next door was a bonus.

Some supplies were kindly provided. Beverages, biscuits, milk,Jam and toiletries n fresh towels along with tea towels and washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs. Fantastic views and quiet location with great pub next door that served delicious food. Fresh eggs available a short drive up lane. Wonderful scenic roads and beaches to explore. Sight and accommodation kept clean and well maintained.

Beds were short for a tall person. Dog compound was not secure for very small dogs as they were able to escape. Washable floors would be better in accommodation that allows dogs. One of the bedroom doors swelled in the extreme heat and was difficult to open.

The house was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our break. It was lovely and quiet, and I really enjoyed watching the birds on the feeder. We had a couple of chilly days and the electric fire and heater were appreciated. The dog throws, towels and outside shower were a brilliant idea

The directions weren't very clear, it took us a while to find the property as it's well hidden. We stopped and asked in the pottery shop for help.

The location was ideal, it had everything you could possibly need (home from home). It was especially nice that they had catered for dogs, ie dog bowls, throws for the furniture and even a pet shower outside although we didn’t need them has we brought those with us,but seeing them there made us feel that our pets were as welcome as us. All the little extras biscuits, milk etc was a lovely touch and showed the owner had put a lot of thought into making their guests comfortable. Thank you.
