Beautiful views, beautiful house
10.0This is the most beautiful property the views are beyond any photo. We loved the ability to relax and explore the Duoro Valley. The property had everything we needed for a family. Rui was so very helpful, he booked tours and dinner reservations. He was always willing to answer questions. He was an excellent host.

10.0Stunning location with breathtaking views. Constantly changing scenery and environment which inspired our novel The Lemon Thief. Lovely hiking nearby. Relaxing and invigorating at the same time Would recommend for a family or couples wanting to experience authentic Douro valley culture. Our host Rui was extremely accommodating and helpful with a pick up and grocery shop and with arranging taxis, restaurant recommendation, etc. The residence and shopkeepers of Pinhau were extremely kind and helping even although the majority had little or no English. The quality of food and wines (Vila Real Reserva was delicious) we purchased from local merchants was excellent. We had a lovely late lunch at the Writer's Club in town.
Superb house and views
10.0The magnificent view of the Douro valley from the house. It was very well equipped and comfortable. Rui was very friendly and kindly left us fresh fruit, milk and coffee.

10.0Beautifully property with the most stunning views. Very comfortable for our group of 6. Fabulous location. Rui was extremely helpful and friendly, thank you for the fruit and coffee.
− Nothing, the drive was a bit steep and tricky in places but our drivers enjoyed the challenge, all added to our holiday experience.
