9.0Our hosts were very hospitable and helful. They were really nice people. Breakfast was lovely and on demand. We got good walking and hiking tips. The fells are accessible, Crummock lake is at an easy walking distance, there are lovely inns nearby. It's highly recommended. Love to go again.

The perfect stay for us!!
10.0Beautiful location with fell views and a natural plunge pool in the garden! The breakfast was legendary- even the bread was homemade. The hosts were very, very friendly and helpful with walking suggestions. We added an extra day because we liked it so much!

− The bedroom and dining room were very cold, needed a dusting all over, breakfast was mediocre well cooked but tooth picks for sausages, partner was not initially given orange juice on second day as she did not drink all of it on the first day,, which we found very odd Felt pressured to leave a comment in visitors book but were able to leave without doing so
