Spacious 2 Bed Urban Jungle Flat, Central London

Beautiful apartment, in a quiet convenient location. Great hosts.

The apartment was really lovely. It was warm, inviting and beautifully presented. There were lots of extra little touches such as plenty of fluffy towels and crisp bed linen. There was tea and coffee left along with little extras like salt/sugar/olive oil and although we didn't cook here, that was a nice touch. The apartment was really cosy and very easy to get to from the Tube Station (approx 3-4 min walk). It was in a quiet neighbourhood with lots of little places to eat and a co-op supermarket right across the street which was so handy. The hosts were great, contacting everyday to check in. We travelled as a family of 6 and we had lots of room. With 2 teenagers, the high speed internet was a big bonus too.

− This is a very personal one, but we didn't realise it was on the ground floor and a level beneath the street which meant the bedrooms were effectively on the street. Although the neighbourhood was on the quieter side, it was a little noisy for our littlest one. The other minor complaint was that the beds were a little uncomfortable. We knew the futons in the living room wouldn't be the most comfortable but the beds in the bedrooms were also uncomfortable.

− The downstairs bathroom needed some love- a new trash can , a drain stop and the shower parts were broken

L’host è stato davvero molto gentile, disponibile e presente durante tutto il soggiorno. È stato facile comunicare con lui e si è dimostrato sempre attento e pronto ad aiutare in caso di necessità. Anche l’appartamento ha delle caratteristiche particolari e una certa personalità, oltre a trovarsi in una posizione comoda per visitare Londra.

− Avrei prestato maggiore attenzione alla pulizia e soprattutto alla manutenzione dell’appartamento. In particolare, alcuni infissi presentavano dello scotch applicato sul telaio e negli angoli, dando l’impressione di una riparazione provvisoria. Il radiatore aveva un evidente accumulo di polvere e sporco all’interno della griglia e alcune zone, come il vano sotto le scale, erano utilizzate come deposito, con scatole, sacchi e diversi oggetti presenti.
