Wonderful, peaceful, beautiful and relaxing! 10/10!
10.0Absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated with a unique balcony to the rear which gave us many hours of relaxation. The kitchen was very well stocked, spotlessly clean and has a good range of appliances. We dined in the property most nights but it is also local to several pubs, restaurants and takeaway establishments.
− Nothing, this charming cottage provided us with a haven of peace to allow a full disconnect from work.

9.0The cottage was comfortable and equipped with everything. The location was great too. Quiet, with a fantastic view from the balcony across the estuary. Plenty of on street parking available outside the property too. Home made cakes and scones on arrival we're an added bonus!
− As non-dog owners we're sensitive to their smell and could tell they'd been on the settee. Maybe something to be considered for future non-dog owning guests?
Fabulous location , glorious weather , lovely cottage , would highly recommend.
9.0The property was in a fabulous location easy access to walking around Amble . The Cottage was beautifully equipped and looked fresh and modern . The balcony was a superb sun trap and provided views across the estuary. The outside space was also good and dog friendly. The owner thoughtfully left a cake and scones which was a nice treat after a long journey.
− We were very fortunate in having hot weather during our stay ,but we felt the bed was on the small side and the duvet was very warm making sleeping a bit uncomfortable. It was classed as a large double , but maybe as we are used to a super king we thought it was a bit small.
First time we visited Northumbria, great location to explore the area, would highly recommend this property
9.0Great location, relaxed feeling, fantastic view across the estuary from upper deck area, enjoyed the sunset with glass of wine!!

A lovely place to stay in our favourite UK holiday spot.
10.0There was a welcome basket waiting for us which contained high quality snacks plus scones with jam and cream. And a bottle of Prosecco! Went down very well after a 4 hour drive! The accommodation was very comfortable, warm and plenty of hot water. Close to excellent fish restaurants and, bonus, just a minute’s walk from the fabulous Alliance fish counter on the harbour.
− We felt the kitchen kit would be improved by a few more serving dishes, bread knife and a teapot. But these are minor things because everything else was very good. Also the bathroom was adequate but would definitely be a little cramped if there were 4 people staying (especially in the morning “rush hour”) and there was no shelving for toiletries.

8.0The view was lovely and the location close to small beach was great.
− The bathroom was very small and the steps were awkward.
