9.0The room was very airy and comfortable and Chris was a very considerate host. We had a lovely stay.
− The only thing that I would have loved is blackout curtains, but that is just me at this time of year, I like a dark bedroom! Its also quite a huge hill for walking back from Lyme bay, but we had a car and also caught the bus! The plus side was that it was a fabulous view and away from it all, so we thought the location was lovely.

Fabulous Host & Breakfast in garden setting
8.0Spacious room with a couch. Friendly host. Fabulous breakfast. Lovely deck with table & chairs- too wet to use unfortunately. Tea & coffee making in the room, with a small fridge. A quiet location away from the tourist hustle & bustle. You can pick up the bus at the Carpark down the hill to head into Axminster. Entrance to the coastal path is very close by.
− The sign at the entrance is small & becoming overgrown, if google maps say you have arrived, that is correct. The road to walk into Lyme Regis is steep (it was fine for us) Be aware it is a double bed, not a Queen. Perhaps an option of foam pillows would be great! The curtains are not blockout. A sheet on the bed is helpful (We just took the doona out of the cover & used that). This is all comments to help. We would stay again. You can hear the people moving around in the room above.
