Disappointed- things not as advertised
5.0The position of the studio was excellent. It was clean - apart from some black mould in the shower.(see photo) Good hairdryer. If the listing had been accurate, it would have been a fine little studio, a bit on the dark side but it didn't live up to its promises - as listed on booking.com. The owners answered our Whatsapps quickly , which was good, but didn't appreciate that facilities detailed must be provided.
− When we said we were disappointed that the flat had no view, they offered us an upgrade to the flat upstairs but at a cost of €200 per day. As we'd already paid for a flat with a view, we thought this extortionate and insulting. The advert showed a view of the harbour and we expected to be able to look out of a window and see that view - but you had to walk down the street! The listing also said the flat had a bath, a microwave and various other services but they were all missing. We didn't mind the lack of the bath, but we did mind not having a view. (See photo of actual view) The room had 2 windows, one was permanently locked snd shuttered with the large (and noisy) air con unit. The shutters on the other window couldn't be adjusted so the room was permanently dark, unless you opened the window which was at street level so passers-by could look straight it at the bed. The sofa was basically a bench- see photo We paid a higher price for Gondjola than for other flats advertised but it was definitely overpriced.
