The perfect Blyde River get away with all the creature comforts you could wish for.
10.0The unique river location. The viewing areas outside. The spacious and comfortable accommodation. The ample braai area. And above all our amazing hosts Christine and Morny for whom nothing was too much to make our stay unforgettable. Next time we are in South Africa we will make a detour just to stay at House On Blyde again.

10.0Christine the host setup a perfect engamemt dinner and facilities for us! My proposal went exceptionally well due to this and her great hosting skills.. 10 /10. Looking forward to revisiting , the river behind the property and and roaming zebras n hippos and buck make it more relaxing!

10.0Everything about the place • It is huge ,clean, and quiet with all the amenities that one can think of. The owners are very friendly and very helpful•They are upfront with all the local information,we did not have to ask anything as they told us all we needed to know upfront•We did enjoy the natural sound of the 'gushing' river just in front of the property.It offers easy access to the' Drie rondavels' and the Blyderivierdam in the Blyde River Canyon.

An incredibly magical place to stay
10.0What an incredible house. Honestly couldn't fault it. We extended another night. The couple who host are super friendly and welcoming. They also sent us recommendations for things to do in the area and restaurants which was super helpful. Comfy beds, lovely bath and well equipped kitchen. Also great brei! The view is stunning and we were lucky to have some Zebras come to visit in the garden which was magical.
