Good location, good communication, not so clean.
6.0The AC was very good. The location was also great for a convention we were attending in Gledswood Hills. Communication was good.
− The cleanliness wasn’t on point unfortunately..If this is improved - it would be a very pleasant stay for next time. (Marked/scuffed walls, dirty splashes/marks on windows/cushions, food in between couch cushions. Some door knobs were broken/hanging out of their socket, no locks on bathrooms, there was a lack of bins in bathroom, some pillows a bit flat. Iron wasn’t very user friendly. We were also asked to put the bins out on street upon our arrival (Thursday) , which we did but found it an unusual request - first time in my booking.com experience to have to do that as a guest for a 3 day stay. I’d have thought the cleaner would do that. Also we had to empty the bins inside upon leaving; were notified of extra charges/service fee if eg. any dishes weren’t done, charge of $35 for a marked tea towel, face washer and so on. I understand some guests could be quite troublesome but it doesn’t give the most welcoming feels. It’s difficult to justify strict expectations for guests when the basics..like a clean and well-prepared space - weren’t all met from the outset.
