8.0There was no breakfast though there was tea and coffee in the room . The place overlooked a lovely garden and there was plenty of natural light
− The fact that it was a shared bathroom with a person living upstairs and there was instructions not to be noisy after 11pm but we were woken by resident upstairs walking around very early in morning . We were also advised that as we had an early flight that perhaps we could shower night before as there was nothing to say whether we would clash with upstairs resident .!

10.0A very warm welcome by the hosts, felt like I was a distant cousin coming to visit them. They were enthusiastic to explain everything about their place in Haren. On the property there was a small but lively garden which had a pond with tiny red fish swimming in it. Room itself was bigger than I expected and had a kitchen in it. Complimentary tea and coffee were included. For this price you cannot get a better deal near Groningen.
− Nothing comes to mind, it exceeded my expectations.
