Location. Marvellous view. Spacious. Excellent, new appliances. Plenty of electric outlets. Warm. Washer and dryer were excellent. Everything looked modern and well cared for. Uncluttered, open look. It seemed welcoming to return to at the end of each day. TVs in each bedroom would be a great treat for a family or bigger group. Many suggestions for improvement will follow, but we did have a very enjoyable time. It is hoped that the owner can make things even better.

− Directions were totally wrong. Stairs had no handrail...dangerous. No contact from the host. Towels and sheets were not changed over a 10 night stay. No rubbish bins in rooms other than kitchen. Only one mirror anywhere. No welcome items, even milk. There were woodlice throughout the house. No recycling bins even though we were told to use them. Large amount of broken glass on the ground around the front door. Needed more glasses and items for cooking. Heated towelrail was falling off the bathroom wall......probably because it was the only support for people rising from the toilet! Entryway needed a chair to help with removing dirty shoes, plus a small table. Living room could use some additional chairs......not so low and difficult for older people. Bathroom or ensuite upstairs would be a great improvement.

Lovely location, tired property with terrible beds

The heating and the shower worked well. Decent sizes lounge and kitchen,

− The beds were atrocious. Saggy tired mattresses, everyone had sore backs. There was wood lice everywhere throughout the house. Nothing in the fridge to welcome you, not even a pint of milk. Nearest shop is in Brae a fair drive away. Ran out of gas so spent one day without heating or hot water. No effort by host to compensate for this or apology
