8.0Private. Clean. Homely. Nice to have breakfast options in the room. A small problem with the electric was sorted swiftly and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Great food in the pub. Very close to Colchester so very convenient but lovely to be in a rural setting away from the city.
− The noise from the road first thing but this is not something that can be helped and is really only during the morning rush hour.
Really enjoyed my stay - nice place to come back to after a full day working. Highly recommended.
9.0Excellent comfortable accommodation. Breakfast cereals, yogurts, tea and coffee provided. Pub food was excellent and reasonably priced. Nice pub with good beer garden. Good parking - own private space for the accommodation.
