4.0Cheaper than others & clean shared bathroom
− The bedroom hadn’t been properly cleaned unfortunately (hair all over the bedside table), which made me feel a bit disgusted throughout my stay. The bed wasn’t the comfiest and since it’s located in a pub (not made very clear when booking), I wasn’t able to leave my suitcase there and had to carry it around with me all morning.

8.0Great location for the Piece Hall, pretty much straight across the road and very close to the train station. Friendly staff, and a great little bar. Good facilities in the shared bathroom and kitchen. Small car park free if charge for guests. All good.
Lovely pub in very close proximity to Piece Hall
8.0Plenty of parking when I arrived and easy to get to. The location is absolutely perfect for the Piece Hall. Right outside. Staff were really friendly. There's a nice beer garden. The room was large, nicely decorated and had a Minster view. I also loved the Anne Lister mural. For the price, it was very reasonable.
− Shared bathroom meant that if someone is showering and you need to use the loo, you have to just wait. (Or go downstairs to the pub but there's only one toilet downstairs). The shared bathroom is clearly stated though and taken into consideration in the price. I think someone else already said about the shower drain being clogged. The minute you start showering, the shower base starts filling with water. Mattresses are very soft. Could have done with a bin in the room. Shame that the pub wasn't open after the gig as we were looking for somewhere for a nightcap.
