10.0This was the most amazing experience. Staying in the rainforest was just what we hoped. The guides wete excellent, especially Carlos whose knowledge of wildlife and the area was amazing. We loved exploring the area by boat and kayak and visiting a local farm. We saw so many birds and animals with the help of the guides and managed to get some great photos. The staff were super helpful and made our stay really special. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The food was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the breakfasts.

10.0Le confort et la décoration des chambres étaient parfait. Tout invite à la relaxation et au dépaysement : la faune et la flore présentes dans l'hôtel, la piscine face au fleuve, la gentillesse du personnel, etcl. Une mention spéciale pour le restaurant que j'ai trouvé "haut de gamme" en termes de saveurs et présentation dans l'assiette
− C'est un petit détail. Mais les tables de massage sont plutôt inconfortables

10.0Traumhafte Lage direkt am Fluss.Urwald direkt hinter dem Hotel mit vielen vielen Tieren(Affen,Tukan,Delphine im Fluss und vieles mehr.Die Blumenvielfalt einfach umwerfend.Alleine die Abholung mit dem Boot über den River unbeschreiblich.Stops gemacht für Krokodile Affen und Unmengen an Vögeln.Das Abendessen ausgezeichnet.Die Touren(Nachtwanderung Bootstour und dann die Kanutour unglaublich schön.Man muss das alles erlebt haben.Wir sind begeistert.

Please note that the reception is closed from 22:00 until 06:00. It is not possible to check in outside the normal reception opening times. Due to its secluded location on a river bank, Tortuga Lodge & Gardens can only by accessed by a combination of ground transportation and boat rides. Guests can also arrive to the site through a domestic flight. The nearest town is a 10-minute boat ride away.
Additional fees are not calculated automatically in the total cost and will have to be paid separately during your stay. Keep in mind that after 4PM there are no public nor private Boats at Caño Blanco dock towards Tortuguero, please call us before you begin transit toward Tortuguero.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in.
