Convenient for getting about in Norwich, unfortunately the accommodation was damp and musty.
1.0Good location , bonus with hot tub, although over looked by surrounding properties. Street parking available as long as host gets the permit.
− No natural air flow or ventilation in property unless you leave the front or back door open. Which gives you no privacy. There are no windows. And hot tub is very over looked. Also the back gate was left open.
It was very nice enjoyed it
10.0Very nice vibes
− Only thing that I can think of is the tap on the sink was missing the top
Definitely not luxury and not worth anywhere near what they are charging
2.0The hot tub and location were great
− It is incredibly run down for a “luxury” stay and filthy poor communication with the owner and did not provide all it offered such as luxury extras, whilst location is good to access the town you have to walk down a back alley filled with rubbish
Awful
1.0That we got to leave
− I booked this place for what was supposed to be a luxurious anniversary weekend, and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. As soon as we opened the door, we were hit with a strong smell of damp, and the cleanliness was unacceptable. There were crisps on the edge of the bed, dirt under the hot tub, and the toilet was disgusting and smelly. The listing promised clean robes and slippers, but instead we found used robes hanging up and no slippers at all. It also advertised air conditioning, but there wasn’t any just a dehumidifier. There were no toiletries, not even basic shampoo. The bed was so dirty we couldn’t sleep in it, and had to sleep on top of the covers. For £348 for two nights, the place wasn’t even worth £50. We had no choice but to leave. When we raised the issues, the host initially seemed understanding but only refunded us for the second night. We still had to pay £189 for the first night, even though the accommodation was unusable, and then had to book another hotel for the second night at our own expense. This place is not luxurious, not clean, and not as advertised. It ruined our anniversary, cost us extra money, and left us feeling completely robbed. The only positive was Booking.com, who were professional, supportive, and extremely helpful throughout. We will continue booking through them, but we will never return to this property.
It’s ok. Not luxe.
6.0Hot tub and garden nice, comfy bed.
− Even though a strong smell of mould was reported on reviews from a year ago there is still extremely strong smell of damp and mould in this property. The hot tub had dirt in the bottom. The draws in the bedroom had hairs in and the kitchen cupboards were also dirty. Dirty mugs. Also had 2 friends over for 3/4 hours during the day and got asked for them to ‘leave immediately’ even though this is no where stated in the policies. No shampoo, no tea just green tea, no coffee, old sugar which is abit hard. Definitely no bath robes or slippers which was the ‘nice touch’ they advised they do for their guests. Someone blood on a bed pillow, 2 day out of date milk left for us. Would’ve been great if all of this wasn’t misadvised.
We made the most of the amenities and regardless of the downfalls we still enjoyed our stay!
6.0The decor. The design.
− Very hot in the property, given its summer but the air con provided achieved no relief. The Netflix wasn’t paid for so wasn’t an asset which was a selling point for the booking. The bed was very small and flimsy and only one pillow was provided per person which resulted in us having to purchase extra for our stay. The shower would flood the bathroom after only 2 minutes of use. The hot tub was a bit filthy, given it’s regularly used but would have been much more enjoyed if it had been recently cleaned before our visit.
