Die Lage war perfekt, unsere Gastgeber waren immer hilfsbereit, die Ausstattung war sehr gut, es war alles vorhanden und noch mehr. Der Ausblick übers Meer und unsere tierischen Nachbarn haben die Unterkunft für uns perfekt gemacht.

Wonderful stay at Dream by the Sea when visiting Pico island, great hosts, comfortable and convent.

Pico island was our first stop for our travel to Azores with my 3 boys (ranging in age from 14 to 24 years old) and I am very happy we stayed at the Dream by the Sea. Such a wonderful property and such wonderful hosts. Pam, the owner, got in touch with us before our trip with welcome note and instructions. Beth and Michael, Pam's family, who live next door to the Dream by the Sea, welcomed us when we got to our destination to give us the keys, show us around and provide recommendations on the things to do. The house is very comfortable and roomy with all of us having enough space. The location is great, about 7 min easy drive from the ferry in Madalena (we got to Pico by ferry from Faial island) and I think it is even closer to Pico airport. It was easy to get around the island and have Dream by the Sea as a base. We had a welcome basket waiting for us in the kitchen, which was a nice bonus and treat after a day of traveling. It was very easy to communicate with the hosts before and during the stay. The property is fully equipped for a very comfortable stay, from comfy beds, 2 bathrooms, fully stacked kitchen, to wi-fi, AC and washer and dryer. The location is great, quiet and serene with roosters waking you in the morning and the ocean waves as a soundtrack. Pico mountain is on one side of the house and the ocean is on another. There is a natural pool within 5 min walk from the house and Stones restaurant which to according to my boys was in the two 3 of the restaurants we visited in Azores in 14 days. Within 7 min walk there is an Azores Wine Company winery and their restaurant with beautiful views of the coast. Within 10 min drive is town of Madalena, restaurants, grocery stores. From the deck of the property you can see Faial island and Sao Jorge island. I would absolutely recommend staying at the Dream by the Sea to friends and family and I would stay here again, as it does feel like a beautiful dream by the sea. Wonderful!

Everything was incredible from Beth the host to the patio with sea view, very well stocked with everything you need, could hear the ocean from every room, location to explore, amazing view of Pico Mtn, I could go on

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Dream by the Sea on Pico Island, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The location is an absolute dream—just a stone's throw from the airport, yet it feels completely secluded with breathtaking ocean views. You can literally walk right down to the shore from the property, which was a huge bonus for us. The house is also a perfect home base for exploring the island. We were able to get to all of our planned destinations with ease and were thrilled to discover it’s incredibly close to the renowned Azores Wine Company. What really set this stay apart, though, were the hosts. They were incredibly kind and accommodating, and their local insights were invaluable. They gave us excellent guidance on what to see and do and recommended some fantastic spots to enjoy local food. Their recommendations made our trip so much richer. For anyone looking for a perfect blend of convenience, beauty, and authentic hospitality, we highly recommend Dream by the Sea.

Alles war fantastisch! Die Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer, die liebevolle Ausstattung, die Lage und auch die sehr freundliche Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Wir würden es jederzeit erneut buchen und auch wärmstens empfehlen.
