8.0Full of character and location was ideal right next to the sea and pub close by.
− The chorus of seagulls - obviously this could not be helped! I am 6’2” so the staircase and bathroom door were a bit of a challenge.

Relaxed, cosy, two day beach side Yorkshire break away with the family.
9.0Beautiful quaint little cottage, great sea views from the upstairs windows, lovely and cool in the heat of the day. The bedrooms were fab, great for little ones, with lovely array of games and books, a generous touch. We will definitely book again for a couple of days, close to the little beach and harbor.
− Parking in Staithes is a challenge but for good reason, it's important to protect the local community from too many cars. However drop off is easy if you are a confident reverser, we parked at the pre book car park at the top, Glenvale, they are easy to find and a great service for tourists, definitely recommend but you must pre book.

We absolutely loved Staithes. Watched the 10 min video of the village in the museum as we were leaving, it was so good!.
7.0Terrific view of a kittiwake nesting on a nearby roof top, then witnessing the chicks arrival. Lovely shower. Comfortable lounge and kitchen. Good location.

A beautiful, quaint cottage in a stunning location.
9.0This cottage worked brilliantly for our family of five and we fully appreciated the beautiful books and sea views for us to enjoy. As others have mentioned, the car park is at the top of the village (but you can drop your luggage adjacent to the cottage), so I highly recommend being prepared and bringing all the food that you’ll need so that you can switch off. That being said, there are some lovely local places to eat on the doorstep.
