Serious security incident and no responsibility taken by the host

− Unfortunately, we had a very serious and frightening experience at this property and cannot recommend it under any circumstances. In December, the property was broken into while we were staying there. During this break in, our laptop and drone were stolen, resulting in a significant financial loss. We were away from the house for only about three hours. We are 100 percent certain that all doors were locked, as we double checked them before leaving. Even if one assumes for a moment that a door had been left unlocked, which we strongly deny, the fact remains that someone clearly knew how and where to enter the property. The house has no security cameras, no safe and no effective security measures, and the surrounding area allows easy access by climbing over the wall. This represents a serious lack of basic safety precautions. After the incident, we felt extremely unsafe and decided to check out early out of fear, even though this meant paying for additional accommodation elsewhere. Given the circumstances, we requested a full refund for the unused nights, which we believe was reasonable after such an event. The host refused any refund and instead suggested that they cannot be sure we locked the doors, effectively shifting the blame onto us rather than taking responsibility for the inadequate security of the property. The location itself felt unsafe, especially for travelers carrying valuables. This experience caused us not only a major financial loss but also significant emotional stress during our trip. We strongly advise future guests to think carefully before booking this property.

Super schön eingerichtet :)

− Die Unterkunft war nicht einfach zu finden. Hinter einem weißen Gittertor versteckt. Ein Schild mit dem Namen oder so wäre super gewesen.
