We needed to stay somewhere on the way back to the West of England from France. Perfect for this!
8.0The owner has gone to great length to make the apartment comfortable and to look nice. There was great attention to detail; there was fresh milk in the fridge, all sorts of cleaning materials were available and there was a selection of items in the bathroom e.g. spare new tooth brushes, in case one had forgotten to pack those. The house is very quiet and located in a side street with interesting properties.
− Walmer is a little quiet; not a great selection of restaurants or cafes. However, it is a very short drive to Deal which has plenty of such things on offer.

8.0It felt very cozy, plenty of light. Nice shower. The hosts were friendly and answered my questions quickly. I felt safe being there as a solo traveller. Being able to see the sea from the livingroom was a nice surprise.
− Location is not the best if you are walking everywhere, but the property itself is easy to find, and pretty much half way between the beach and the train station which is good. I know other people mentioned the building hallway not being the nicest, but this is no reflection on the flat itself, which was nice and clean. (Toilet seat needs fixing though as it was not stable) It’s relatively quiet, but if you are not used to living in a flat, you might be surprised by hearing the neighbours walk around and playing music.. My biggest issue was not being able to reach anything … due to me being extra short. Had to stand on a chair even to close the curtains…

9.0A spacious, clean, very well equipped and stylish apartment. Distant Sea Views, from the living room, and overlooks garden from the bedroom.Quiet and relaxing and warm. Very friendly and accomodating hosts, with clear and swift communication via text or phone.Local indepent bakers, butchers, fish and chip shop, general stores and pub within walking distance.
