It's a very basic stay, but I think the focus is more on the adventures they offer. I did the 1 day trekking with a great guide (he was able to speak english pretty well). I had an absolutely amazing time! If you're looking for a luxury hotel or homestay experience, this one might not be for you. If you're looking for some GREAT OUTDOOR ADVENTURES around Mu Chang Chai, I say absolutely! It's very conveniently located, with everything you need within very easy walking distance, restaurants, Cafés (especially VUA XỨ MÙ Cafe), bus stop, even a pretty large mart (Long Anh mart) that I found pretty useful. There's also a large covered balcony area with a pretty nice view that I enjoyed, especially during the heavy rain.

The receptionist was our best man. Really friendly and helpful. He helped us a lot to plan our stay in Mu Cang Chai.

− The shower was really basic and the bed was a bit hard. But these are just small things.

I stayed here one night just stopping by with my motorbike. It’s right on the Main Street. The staff was very kind and helpful. I stayed in the dorm. The bed was great, curtains and good fan. I felt safe here as well. They offer filtered water & the facilities were very nice & clean. I would stay here again.

− No aircon in the dorm. This wasn’t a negative for me I just wanted to include it. I felt more than comfortable with the fan 🥰

The hostel is right in the centre of Mu Cang Chai. The dorm room was very spacious and had a balcony. The beds were very comfortable.

− I wished they advertised and sold their tours better. When I asked about the motorcycle tour, he just told me the price. The trekking tour also depended on how many people were there. I eventually found someone else in town to take me on a motorbike tour. You should make a poster of an itinerary of the tours.

Close to central and great trekking tour

I had 1 day trek with Trekking Mu Cang Chai team, Cao the amazing guide and gave me all the useful informations around the area. We walked on the small trails completely deserted and no tourists, everything was wild and simple with smiles and welcoming waves from Hmong people in the villages. I have been to Sa Pa and everything was completely broken with the crowds of tourists everywhere, high recommend trekking in Mu Cang Chai with these amazing guides.

I like my stay at here. Its close to what i needs because its located at the central city. The staff names Linh really welcoming me and excellent service. Can rent a motorbike too & the room is spacious as well as comfy blanket.
