We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation. Communication with Adam before our arrival was excellent, and everything was very well organised, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. The accommodation is a separate back house behind the main property. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. We were travelling with our four cats, and the accommodation worked really well for us. For our trip, it was the perfect place to break up the journey from Edinburgh to the Eurotunnel. There is an additional £20 cleaning fee for guests travelling with pets, which is completely understandable. Overall, a comfortable, well-equipped place to stay with excellent communication throughout. We'd happily stay again.

Our stay would have been acceptable if it were not for the bathroom.

The property had lots of room and was not at all cramped. The owners were very accommodating for our early check in.

− The bathroom was very bad. The shower was not clean and was in terrible condition as regards the tiling and drains. The sink was situated in the shower , which was strange.

The spacious and comfortable rooms. Good sized kitchen and quiet location near shops and places to get a take away.

− The room freshners were a bit overpowering.

We would have gone elsewhere had we not paid in advance.

Spacious, close to Ely

− Smelt really badly of dog & damp. Dehumidifier was on…we emptied it 4 times. Bought plug ins & candle to disguise some of smell. Sink area dirty. We washed the draining rack before we could use it Fridge had hairs in it & was dirty inside. Dishwasher not emptied-we thought there was only 1 spoon at first & had to share until we found more in dishwasher. No washing up liquid-we bought some to use. Under table had not been swept. Sitting room, strong smell of dog (curtains?,sofa?). Bed very uncomfortable. Only 1 bath towel each supplied-no towel for hair. Bathroom dark cobwebs & black mould in shower area. Sink tap dripped. Shower needed to be operated in a strange manner for it to work. Outdoor space dirty & uncared for & only 2 chairs.
