8.0Quiet, central location. Convenient for buses and trains and not far from Tesco/Sainsbury's. Central heating was effective, but could have done with some instructions on operation (not very intuitive for those unaccustomed to digital controllers). Generally well presented.
− No towel rail in bathroom. Electric underfloor heating in bathroom did not work well - just about OK in early Autumn with the electric radiator, but probably too cold over winter (especially with the window open). A centrally heated stainless steel towel rail would kill two birds with one stone. Expensive looking Smeg range, but no microwave oven. No mirror in front bedroom. The blue and white gingham upholstery was sadly stained.
An excellent base to explore the area.
