8.0The house is nice
− The garden... it isn't private at all and someone told me it used to have trees all the way round but they was cutting down unfortunately, now it has no privacy at all. I didn't feel safe to let the children out to play 😕. But apart from that it's a lovely house.
Near to our daughter so would book again
8.0Clean spacious well appointed

Less than basic property on the outskirts of Leeds.
2.0Location was ideal for us. Close to train train station and large supermarket. Off road parking. Easy access to explore surrounding areas North of Leeds like Otley, Skipton, Harrogate etc
− When we booked this property it was advertised as a luxury house. The word 'luxury' was removed from the title shortly before we arrived. It is obvious why and I am surprised by the positive reviews. To be honest we were not after luxury but basic cleanliness and simple facilities should be a given. The listing states that that the kitchen is 'fully equipped' and that the property has free toiletries. Basic things like a chopping board, oven gloves, a colander for draining salad leaves, a baking dish were all absent. We brought a bottle of wine with us but had to drink out of some mismatched tumblers because there wasn't even a set of cheap wine glasses. The knives and forks were a mismatch of cutlery and the plastic handled set were bendy and cheap. Toiletries were sparse and we had to stock up at the nearby ASDA on arrival. The bathroom was dated, dirty and grimy and needed cleaning with mouldy grouting and sealant. The banister was unstable and nobody was confident about holding it for fear of falling down the stairs. The bedding in the small single room had lots of hairs in it and didn't looked as though it had been cleaned (fortunately we didn't need this room). All the pillows were lumpy and the mattresses cheap. The sofa was rock hard and nobody felt comfortable sitting in the 2 chairs in the lounge because the legs were so wobbly. All bedrooms were light in the morning because there were just blinds and no curtains. Bath towels were tiny. The whole property felt like a student house and I am glad we were only using it as a base to explore the surrounding areas.
Clean, easy access, affordable
8.0Easy to access and locate. Easy to book and communicate with the host. Spacious and clean.
− Only minor issue is that the sofa is super hard, narrow, and uncomfortable. Also no glasses in the house to use.
This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
