AVM Suites - Koukaki center

We enjoyed the unit and our stay in Athens. The host was very responsive to questions.

Location was great, apartment was clean and comfortable.

− It would be helpful to mention in the instructions that you have to turn the power on at the fuse box for the stove to work. A toaster would be a useful addition to the kitchen. Thanks.

Apartment in good location with room for improvement

- Central location fo local social life - Quiet location - Clean - Spacious for 2 guests (would be cramped for more guest) - Washing machine - Good and hot shower – Possibility of taxitransfer to airport

− - There was no wardrobe, no shelves nor any hooks to store clothes and stuff - only a very small space for outdoor coats and shoes by the front door. We had to store our clothes etc on the sofa. - The stove did not work. We discovered this the first morning when trying to make breakfast. We tried to contact the host by what's up (Panagiotis) but did not get an answer. We then tried to get in contact via the platform but did not get an answer until the afternoon. We were then informed that we should press the look button for more than 10 sek to start the stove. We tried this the second morning, but the stove did still not work. - The bed was very firm (and there was only one pillow per person, while you usually get two). From answers to previous reviews on the hard bed you get the impression the this has been seen to, but is was hence not the case when we stayed. - There was not enough hooks/racks in the bathroom for hanging towels for 2 guests. - The check-in process could be improved. We received the code for the key box only some minutes before we arrived to the adress and after several reminders we made on the platform. Before seeking contact on the platform we tried to contact the host (Vasili) by phone but he did not answer. Not knowing if we would make contact and be able to enter the apartment naturally caused stress. - The apartment is quite dark and has a non-cozy feel to it, due to interior design all in grey and no small lamps but only ceiling lamps with white light All things mentioned above would be quite easy to see to – and then this apartment would be great :)

Good location. There is many bars and restaurants 5 mins away. Apartment has almost everything you need and it is great value for the money.

− As an American, it took a while to figure out the inside of European apartment, such as how oven, electricity, hot water systems work. We figured it out but paper instructions would be nice.
