Only overnight stay so not long enough to experience the hotel.

Location and price. Staff was lovely and friendly. Restaurant, pool and bar - great food and drinks. Especially the Masala Fish and Lamb stew. Taste like homemade Fiji food Location right on the beach with sound of ocean, verandah, kitchenette. Great for families with big front lawn of verandah. Also noted attached rooms for bigger families.

− Unit was a bit dated. Could hear neighbours in morning and at night. Wondered if we were near staff quarters. Steps slippery when wet. Car park not paved - remains gravel.

− Not good for children,risk for fall especially during bad rainy weather as the room was in the corner and the steps were very risky to walk on. No utensils to use No microwave No milk for coffee

Good value for money, friendly staff

It was close to the outrigger as we went for a wedding and some great restaurants down the road just a short walk. Pool was nice.

− It was a bit dated and they had two events on when we were there and could not use the pool area or restaurant and we were not notified about this when booking. Food at the restaurant was hit and miss.

The location and ocean outlook were lovely, and once the issues were escalated, management did eventually waive the airport transfer and our first night’s accommodation to acknowledge what had happened. Once we were transferred to the room we did end up booking, it was nice.

− Unfortunately, almost everything else fell short. Our airport transfer felt unsafe, with a provisional driver using his phone while driving, swerving across the road and later being stopped by police. This was a disappointing way to begin our honeymoon. The biggest issue was that we had booked and prepaid for a premium room months in advance but were placed into a much lower-category room without being told. We only discovered the mistake ourselves the following day, at which point we were told the room had been overbooked. Even after our booked room became available, nobody offered to move us until we specifically asked. It felt very disappointing that this wasn’t communicated honestly from the outset. The original room was in poor condition, with an unreliable shower and facilities that felt very run down. Breakfast was also extremely disappointing, with limited options and food that didn’t seem fresh or appetising. Overall, the property did not reflect what we expected based on the listing. While management eventually resolved the financial side after considerable discussion, it shouldn’t have required so much persistence to reach a fair outcome.
