An interrupted stay at Bellinter House, much to our chagrin.

Easy access from Dublin Airport. A warm welcome, even with our late arrival after midnight. Lovely warm, spacious room, well equipped and kitted out in the lounge section and in the bathroom. Enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were kind and welcoming.

− Velux window didn't close, flies getting in especially at night. No lift to the lovely attic suite. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy the spa element of the resort, as under 16s cannot use the thermal facilities (insurance purposes, understandably). We were disappointed, so we left early. If that information had been clearly stated online, at the time of booking, we obviously would have booked a more suitable accommodation, with facilities that could have been enjoyed by all. Please consider this as a priority. You have a beautiful set up. Ensure hotel facilities match the needs of the guests. Future reviews should reflect a positive experience supporting efforts made by your staff to satisfy the hotel's customers. It's not just food and accommodation you're offering. It's a spa destination as well. The tempting images of a pool, a description of the length of the pool are rather enticing. Attach some wording like "enjoyed by 16Yr olds and over"/ "You must be 16 to avail of the thermal spa facilities/pool". It's not the guest's fault if they turn up expecting to use the facilities, if there is no advisory statement accompanying the description of the facilities, when booking online.

The hotel is breathtaking!

− I was a bit disappointed by the staff, during check-in I felt a bit like a burden. During dinner my rare steak was well done, and the waiter complained about the discussion in the kitchen to resolve it. I really wanted to go to the wellness center when we got there, but closed super early, for a one night stay it basically leaves barely any time to go if you have plans in the morning.

Lovely peaceful setting and great spa.However the thermal area was extra for guests and I think it should have been included as it was relatively expensive to stay.Staff were lovely especially a lovely helpful woman at front desk.

− I have just returned from staying at the Bellinter hotel on Saturday 18th July and I would need to express my outmost disappointment and disgust at my experience with this hotel. I will just bullet point my issues as to describe my experience in detail ...is just unbelievable Reception staff...extremely rude ignorant and most (i cannot stress this enough) u helpful. The spa facilities where we were told to change ...they were disgusting dirty smelled of human faces..there were 8 girls in there at the same time trying to get freshened up. This was an absolute disgrace The room ...the thermostat was broken we couldn't get the room cooled down we had to sleep with window wide open. The coffee machine and kettle lovely as they are the only place to plug them in was over the other side of the room and on the FLOOR !!! The carpet leading to the bedroom was .....screwed to the stairs as it had a massive great hole in it . Opposite the practically empty dirty vending machine. This hotel is meant to be rated a 4star, the cost of the room would reflect this if the hotels level of cleanliness or their facilities were not absolutely filthy,disgusting and smelly. By far out of all the hotels I had stayed in both in Ireland and abroad the reception staff in the Bellinter are by far the WORST ...Clearly they do not like or take pride in their jobs. I hope this email reached relevant persons who can address these issues. Very disgusted and angry.
