Worth a stay

Great place to stay just few minutes walk from train station and town but booking in good be made easier as had to wait on someone arriving to let me in and also get room ready but all in all very good

− No road noise as was nightshift

− Being asked for a deposit that was not mentioned upfront and they refused to take a card payment for that so I had to go out and find a cashpoint after 22⁰⁰ in an unfamiliar neighbourhood. The following morning they refugee to give me my £20 deposit because my friend that was king enough to give me a lifte overstayed by a couple of minutes and in the morning when she cane to pick me up she blew her nose and because there was no bin in the room she went to discard the tissue in the bathroom this was classed as using the facilities,enough to warrant withholding my deposit.

− There is not a private bathroom! There is a communal bathroom, you have to walk through 2 rooms where other people are sitting ! It should not be advertising a private bathroom! Also it reads like there is private parking, but it’s just roadside parking! It’s false advertising! I would not have booked it if I had known there wasn’t a private bathroom.

On the face of it, it looked good and clean..

− I booked a on suite room, but was told because they had a leak it was not available..I was. Told I would be the only person staying in the house, but durring the evening number of odd people people were letting themselves in.. But worse of all the hole of the ceiling crashed down with water everywhere. I had to get out the house was not safe .this was 1.30am.I rang the land lord.and got a reply at 7am saying they would give me a refund. Which zI have not received. NOT HAPPY.
