I really enjoyed staying in this apartment. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was visiting a caring aunt — very cozy, warm, and welcoming. I especially appreciated the small touches like tea, coffee, water, and candies upon arrival. After a long trip, it was exactly what I needed and felt very thoughtful. The apartment is fully equipped — truly everything you might need for a comfortable stay, and even more. During our visit, the weather changed a lot — from hot to cold and rainy — but the apartment remained comfortable even without using additional heating or cooling. The area is quiet and pleasant, with easy access to public transportation, cafes, and a nearby Whole Foods where you can find a variety of ready-made meals. It’s not very close to the city center, but we sometimes walked — the route downhill through beautiful Georgetown made the walk enjoyable.

− This is not a downside, but something to be aware of: before arrival, you need to fill out a standard short-term rental form on a separate website. Later I learned that this is common practice in the U.S. and helps explain house rules in detail, but since I hadn’t experienced this before, it was a bit surprising at first. I would like to thank the host once again for providing such a comfortable place and for excellent communication. Everything was explained clearly and in detail, and all questions were answered quickly. You can truly feel a warm and welcoming attitude.

El alojamiento es cómodo, amplio, y perfecto para una estadía larga. El departamento es el subterraneo de una casa en un barrio residencial, con entrada independiente y acceso al patio; el estacionamiento está justo en la entrada. Estuvimos una semana, dos personas, y fue todo agradable. Recibimos el departamento impecable, la cocina bien equipada con todo para preparar nuestras comidas del día y hasta condimentos básicos. Hubo un par de días que tuvimos que trabajar desde la casa, para lo cual tienen un cómodo escritorio y buena señal de wifi. La comunicación con el anfitrión siempre fue rápida y clara. El barrio es tranquilo, nunca escuchamos ruidos en las noches, y la casa está a distancia caminable de una farmacia, un par de supermercados (Whole Foods y Trader Joe), y cafés. En más de una oportunidad caminamos al barrio de Georgetown, que tiene lindas tiendas, restaurantes, bares, y cafes; es una caminata de aprox. 30 minutos (en bajada). Aprovecho de mencionar que el estacionamiento es estrecho, pero esto no fue un problema para nosotros. Totalmente recomendado!
