We loved how warmly they welcomed us into their home; it truly felt like being hosted by family. They were incredibly professional, kind, and attentive, and their children were so sweet and a joy to be around. The location was absolutely stunning, and the food was top notch...fresh, thoughtful, and beautifully prepared every day.

− There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, but there are a few important things to be aware of before booking. It is a cash-only experience, which may require planning ahead for some travelers. Also, while showers are technically available, they are very limited (we were asked to keep them to about 30 seconds), which is understandable given water constraints but helpful to know in advance. Overall, these are just part of the off-grid nature of the experience.

Highly recommended! It took us a while to find the right boat. We almost booked a smaller boat for basically the same price but look no further, Renaissance is a beautiful well kept boat and much bigger than the average and very spacious inside. We spent a few nights on board Renaissance and I have to say I did not expect that high level of service. From the moment we stepped on board we felt like home. A wonderful family dynamic. Captain Morgan is very professional and we felt safe at all times. He took us to the most beautiful islands and incredible snorkeling spots. Petra's cooking was just extraordinary. The flavors and the presentation were spectacular. The kids were very lovely and polite and they helped us as guides on the islands since we don't speak spanish, it seems like they know all the locals which we found adorable. /Pierre

La mejor manera de visitar San Blas

Fue todo lo que se puede esperar y más de navegar por San Blas.. Dejando de la lado el sitio, que es espectacular, el Renaissance es el barco de vela tripulado más grande y más bonito de los que hay en alquiler en la zona. El Capitán Morgan inspiraba mucha confianza y se esforzó en hacernos conocer las islas más interesantes, cada una con algo distinto. Nos llevó a sitios en los que el snorkeling en las barreras de coral era sorprendentemente increíble, a la altura de lo que se ve en famosos sitios de buceo del mundo. La Chef profesional Petra nos deleitó con verdaderos manjares, a un nivel de cocina muy, muy por encima de lo que esperábamos para un barco. Nos sorprendía cada día, y con platos saludables y llenos de distintos sabores. Toda la familia es super educada y amable, y hablan todos varios idiomas, con lo cual la convivencia en un barco y la comunicación fueron muy fáciles. Sus niños, son simplemente adorables; mi hija se la pasó super bien nadando, explorando islas y jugando con ellos.. Y el día de su cumpleaños la sorprendieron con decoraciones para el barco, dibujos y un pastel... no olvidará jamás estas vacaciones. Finalmente, ver la interacción de la familia con los Gunas, a los que conocen desde hace tiempo, fue una manera más de aprender sobre esta sorprendente comunidad. Un viaje único y especial!
