8.0The view from the apartment was magnificent - a car would be ideal as the area is quite steep, hence the great view (!) but the taxi service for us was extremely good and very reasonable. The apartment had practically everything you could need and offered the best storage so very home from home. Comfy beds, spacious rooms and the complex was super quiet which is just perfect if you are looking for a restful holiday.
− Lack of umbrella or shaded area on the balcony - not everyone has a high tolerance for the sun and a large umbrella would have made eating and sitting outside much more enjoyable for both of us. The apartment needs a deep clean, floors may appear clean but when you look closely they need to be washed properly. We had the doors open nearly all the time and there was a lot of dust/hairballs etc., that didn't belong to us blowing out from under furniture which is why we mention deep clean needed. We didn't use the aircon system very much at all but on the night we arrived we did and found that this drips water into a container that you have to empty, this was quite heavy & awkward to do when full & if you don't spot this in time the floor gets flooded - we would suggest getting the aircon plumbed in properly so the water goes outside. Small suggestion to supply waterproof foam mattress to use with the sunbeds provided which would make sunbathing more enjoyable on the balcony.
