The view is amazing.

− We were highly disappointed in this home. First of all, the home was very dirty. There was dust and spiderwebs everywhere as well as party remnants left taped to the ceiling and confetti all over the floor. The description states that it is fully remodeled but it's obvious that it was just very sloppily done, and the home has major safety concerns due of the layout. The dining table and couch are placed in horrible spots causing us to hit our heads several times when sitting there. The other safety issue is a lack of railing on the pathway up to the cabin. The path is winding and steep and the lack of railing makes it very dangerous especially when it's raining. People with even the slightest mobility issues will have trouble getting up to the cabin. The other major issue that we had with this home was the heating system. Either the host is controlling the system and kept cutting it down to save on electricity or the system itself just isn't adequate to fully heat the home. The upstairs bedrooms and the den bedroom were always much colder than the main living area and need an additional space heater to be comfortably warm. The electric fireplace was also damaged and didn't function properly. The host did say that they were trying to get it replaced though. Other inconveniences that we experienced were a lack of clothing storage in 3 of the 4 bedrooms. No closets or dressers at all. Nowhere to store your dirty clothes makes the place very untidy too. Host should also think about adding a full-length mirror upstairs as it would have been very appreciated. The washer/dryer combo is very inefficient and takes HOURS to do even just one load. There is no TV in the main living room so no place for families to sit and watch movies together. The kitchen was decently equipped but needs a much better frying pan and a mop. We had to use towels to clean up a spill and then it took us 2 days to get them washed and dried.
