1.0Nothing as they cancelled our booking 9pm on the evening of our stay.
− I was contacted at 9pm by the owner to say my booking had to change due to a maintenance issue. Three adults due to stay in this two bedroom home were booked into one small hotel room beds literally next to each other. Not appropriate when I have a sleeping condition which I explained. .When I tried to explain this isn't an acceptable alternative , the message back to me was extremely blunt and rude. Considering we could have checked in hours before it seems strange that a maintenance issue just happened to occur. When I then looked back at reviews they treated another customer exactly the same. It's obvious they are double booking. I had to pay for another hotel room plus throw away all the food I had packed. The whole situation was extremely stressful and completely ruined our evening.

1.0− My booking was cancelled by the host 4 hours before check-in due to over booking the property. An alternative was offered at the same property - 2 apartments with one bedroom and bed. We accepted this through Booking.com as we had no other choice, and wrote back to the hosts. The alternative was then cancelled 1 hour before check-in with no reasoning behind it. The host didn't pick up the phone and didn't communicate in any way! Do not book unless you want to spend your day changing your accommodation plans!
